About

Did You Agree? is a grassroots, non-profit initiative built on a simple but powerful principle: parenthood should begin with consent — not coercion.

We’re here to build a better, fairer model of parental responsibility — one that respects autonomy, supports children, and recognises the sacrifices made by those who dedicate their lives to caregiving.

Our team is a two-person partnership — one man, one woman — united by a shared experience of the system’s failings and a commitment to making it better.

We believe in consent, but we also believe in care. Many parents — especially mothers — put careers on hold and shoulder years of unpaid labour to raise children. Their contribution is real, and it matters. That’s why our proposed system includes safeguards and uplift mechanisms to reflect and honour that caregiving.

We also stand with survivors. No one should be forced to co-parent with an abuser or kept tied to someone who caused harm. Our model builds in legal protections to ensure safety, support, and freedom from coercion — without compromising child wellbeing.

This is about building something healthier — for everyone. A system where rights and responsibilities are clear, voluntary, and balanced. Where parenting begins with mutual agreement, and where families — of all kinds — can move forward with dignity and support.

If you’re ready to rethink what fairness looks like in family and child support law, we’re glad you’re here. Let’s reshape the future, together.
